The first half of term culminated in Year 5 sharing their fabulous flying pig narratives with Year 2. The Year 2 pupils listened agog as they heard about the various mischievous antics that the flying pigs got up to. Everyone really enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate their fantastic work with their intended audience. We have kicked off this half of term by using bar models to help support our work in maths, whilst looking at problems that involve the operations: addition and subtraction. Bar models are a really useful tool to help children visualise and understand how to solve problems. In Art, pupils produced beautiful still-life drawings using the skills they have been developing this term.
