World Book Day provided Year 5 with the opportunity to celebrate some of our favourite books and their authors. There was lots of excitement and discussion throughout the day and we hope that all of the children across the school are inspired to enjoy reading even more.
Thank you to Mrs O’Brien for reading us her favourite story, “The Tiger Who Came to Tea” by Judith Kerr. Look carefully and, amongst others, you may be able to spot a niffler, Hazel from Murder Mystery, Coraline Jones, Luna from Frostheart, Harry Potter (obviously), Ginny Weasley, Artemis Fowl and Alex Rider.
