  • Gymnastics and Shadow Puppet Theatres

    Year 3 have been working really hard on there travelling in gymnastics and were able to try out their skills on the apparatus this week! The children have also made some brilliant shadow puppet theatres while learning all about light and shadow in this term's science topic. We were even able to share our theatres with children in our Reception classes too!

  • Local History, Data Collection and Reflections

    This week the Year 3 classes visited The Museum of Richmond to learn about some of our local history. We learned a lot from our informative workshop with Vicky at the museum, and had a lot of fun handling toys and tools from the Victorian era. D

    This term, Year 3 are studying their local area in history and have been learning all about early modes of transport. Here are a few pictures of their charcoal steam train drawings - aren't they fantastic?!

     

    In line with our history topic, we have also debated for and against the coming of the railway to our local area...
