Festive feelings, creating stories and much more!

The children have been working incredibly hard learning their lines for the Christmas play and practising all of the beautiful songs they will be singing.

In English the children have planned and written the middle part of their stories; rewriting the Oliver Jeffers book Lost and Found!

In maths they have been comparing number sentences using <, > and =. As well as solving missing number problems.

In science we learnt about what happens when we cool or heat up and change the state of material and if these changes are reversible or irreversible.

We have also started our geography topic and the children recapped the 7 different continents and learnt where the 5 different oceans are located.

In art we have looked at the artist Yayoi Kusama and practised sculpting our own pumpkins!
