Our traditional tale this week is 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff'. The children enjoyed making their own puppets and acting out the story in our puppet theatres. They have also loved making play dough trolls and giant cardboard trolls. We were very impressed with their artistic skills and early writing attempts. The children produced wonderfully detailed story maps. They have also been very creative about designing bridges using a range of indoor and outdoor resources. Hopefully the troll will not break their bridge...... As part of our PSED topic on feelings, we have enjoyed choosing which jar to place our photo in each day to show how we feel. We’ve also explored ways to help ourselves feel better when we experience sadness, anger, or fear.
