Despite the British weather’s best attempts to wash out our visit to Kew Gardens, science came to life as we journeyed through millions of years of plant evolution, discovering how plants have adapted and diversified. Back in school, we’ve been strengthening our mathematical fluency and problem-solving skills through the four operations, refining balance and coordination through cartwheels in PE and transforming street art concepts into larger-scale designs using one-point perspective. In history, we’ve explored the contrasting experiences of wartime evacuees, critically examining primary and secondary sources while investigating how and why propaganda was used to influence public opinion and maintain morale.
