Keep Calm and Carry On

It’s been another action-packed couple of weeks in Year 6! The children have immersed themselves in World War II, visiting the air raid shelter at St. Leonard's Court  before turning their ideas about life during the Blitz into vivid setting descriptions. In maths, we’ve moved from place value to sharpening our skills with the four operations. Art has mixed perspective, scale and street-art messages, while science has involved leaving bread out and waiting to see what grows. Glamorous science at its finest! The children continue to impress us with their hard work, curiosity and positive attitude, and it is a real pleasure to see them flourishing in Year 6.
