Moth adaptations

In science this week we have braved the cold to investigate how well different coloured moths could survive on the tree trunks in our school.
The children designed their own experiment to investigate camouflage and collected data using metre sticks and stopwatches to record in a table.
We have also continued learning about sustainability and economic activity in the UK in geography lessons and have been writing dialogues based on 'Holes' in English. Half of us have completed the Bikeability course and now feel confident to ride our bikes safely on local streets. The rest of Year 6 will participate in Bikeability in March.
