We are rappers and designers!

Over the last two weeks, Year 4 have been busily learning all about how to be a designer as part of our new art topic. The unit will follow the journey a designer goes on before ending with the children designing their own piece of clothing. They will take inspiration from the jungle by studying the colours and animal patterns.
In English, we have started our new poetry topic, which includes studying different styles of poetry, including rap! The children will be learning all about different poetry styles and writing their own poems based on events at Juniper Hall in the style of Michael Rosen's 'Don't' poem.
In science, we are learning about animal habitats and can't wait for this learning to be complimented and enriched on our two night residential at Juniper Hall.
Alongside all of this, we have been practising decimals in maths, talking about human rights in PSHE, learning how to use a key and compass in geography and looked at where the Bible came from in RE.
