What a great start to the Autumn term we have had in Year 1!

This week we have had our first carousel of activities in the morning. We have been writing a list of items we would take with us on an adventure! We are now learning cursive handwriting so have introduced letters 'i' and 'l'. 

In science we have been learning about the body and labelling parts. We also made some skeleton pictures too. 

In maths we have been practising our number formation to 10. Then we sorted and grouped objects by colour, shape and size. We are now counting objects using tens frames to help us.

In music we listened to Colonel Hathi's march from the Jungle book and practised marching in time to the beat of the music. We are looking forward to creating our own marching piece of music too!
