What a busy two weeks! Year 2 have finished their maths module on place value and we have begun looking at addition, and are very impressed with their number bond facts. In literacy, we have begun reading Stuck by Oliver Jeffers. They acted it out throwing lots of interesting objects into the tree! We are going to write our own version of Stuck which will be Halloween themed for you to enjoy reading when you are next in school. In art we have learnt about a colour wash and made our own abstract paintings. Finally we have finished learning about the fire of London in history and we hope you like our colourful 2-page spread below. We are practising our Harvest songs and looking forward to welcoming you in school next week for our wonderful Harvest Assembly.
