As the term hurtles towards the half-term mark, Year 5 have continued to work incredibly hard. The children really knuckled down during their end-of-year assessments and should feel very proud of all they have learnt and achieved so far this year. Alongside this, they have completed their unit on position and direction in maths, explored fascinating life cycles and metamorphosis in science, and devised beautiful Etherees in English, inspired by the natural world. In computing, pupils have been designing their own eye-catching vector graphics — proving that Year 5 are just as capable with digital art as they are with poetry and polygons!
