Friction
Year 3 have been investigating friction in our science lessons this week. We set up an investigation comparing how far a toy car would travel on different surfaces then recorded our results in a table. Ask your child which surface allowed the car to travel the furthest and why.
In English, we have been describing the scene at the Full Moon Ceremony as Chulak waits for the Goddess of the Emerald Lake to appear. In preparation for their writing, the children have done some drama and drawing which has helped them to use powerful verbs and interesting adjectives in their descriptions.
