Kimonos and Japanese exports
In addition to learning about how to measure the area of rectalinear shapes and writing some evocative descriptions of Pacific islands, the Year 4 children have continued to focus on Japan.
In geography this week the children have been investigating Japan's influence on the world. You may notice them spotting Japanese cars or technology around the home. They have designed some beautiful kimonos based on their study of the art of Hokusai and their immersion in all things Japanese.
