A busy start to the new half term
The children in Year 6 are starting out on their learning in a range of new topics as the new half term kicks off. In RE, they visited Christ Church to view the display of Remembrance poems and art works created by the art ambassadors.
Their science lessons are focusing on evolution and inheritance and in geography they have been working hard to develop their knowledge of the British Isles. Our focus in French is to develop the ability to ask for something to eat and drink in a café or restaurant. In PE, the children are developing their basic football skills with their initial focus being on improving their close control of the ball. Although the children have all really enjoyed their learning, the undoubted highlight of the week for so many of them was receiving their ambassador badges!
