Our new topic, All Around the World, is truly taking off and this week our travels took us all the way to China! We explored one of the world's most iconic landmarks, the magnificent Great Wall of China, and were amazed by its incredible history and scale. We even had a go at writing Nǐ Hǎo — that's "hello" in Mandarin — and the children were so proud of their efforts! In Maths, we have been getting to grips with doubles and not doubles. The children have been working hard to spot patterns and build their confidence with this skill. Lots of great thinking going on!
