The children have settled back into school brilliantly. We are continuing to learn each of the phonemes - so far we have covered s, a, t, p, i, n, m, d, g, o, c/k, e, u, r, h and b. Please make sure you have logged on to Google Classroom as we upload the Jolly Phonics sound sheet every time we learn a new one.
This week we have been learning all about the number 6. We will continue to have a focus on one number per week, concentrating on number 7 next week.
We have been looking at different aspects of Autumn and the changes that occur at this time of the year.
We had lots of fun playing team games, going on an Autumn walk and drinking hot chocolate during our Forest Schools day on Thursday 12th November.
The children have been enjoying whiteboard club, where we have been working on mark-making and letter formation - they are doing a great job.
Please remember to bring in jumpers and coats as it has been getting colder and wetter.
