Our music lessons have linked into our Japanese geography topic as we have been learning all about Taiko. This style of drumming was used to prepare for battle and involves big physical movements and working ensemble as well as clear rhythmic beats and shouts. We will continue with this next week so any children who have been ill this week will not miss out.  We have also started our new core text, Kensuke's Kingdom. Please can any children who have been at home this week listen to Mrs Teeling read the first 2 chapters on the Google Classroom.
