Welcome to Year 4 and Lower Key Stage 2!

We have arrived at Junioer Hall, eaten our picnic lunch, re-applied sunscreen and met our tutors.  The children are having their first lesson on how to use a compass and will soon be settting off on a  walk up Box Hill.

THURSDAY 

It's another sunny day in Box Hill and everyone is energised after a delicious cooked breakfast and some (a few hours) sleep. It's been a successful night for mammal trapping as the children have caught 2 voles and 2 mice. All 4 creatures have been released back into the wild. The children have now started the day's carousel of activities; shelter building, semaphore,, fire lighting and making nettle tea. We will be enjoying a campfire tonight.
