Ben Rowan

Governor type

Co-opted Governor

Why did you want to be a governor?

I want to support my local community using the skills and experience I have gained in my day job as a teacher. I believe the years spent in primary education are fundamental to later life outcomes and want to contribute to supporting pupil success as a Governor.

What do you do when you are not being a governor?

I have taught maths at independent prep schools for over ten years and currently work at one in Barnes. I particularly enjoy contributing to the partnerships programme working with local state primary school pupils at weekends. During the holidays I like to go sailing, cycling, and scuba diving.
