What a wonderful start to Reception we have had! The children have settled in beautifully and have been happy, confident and enthusiastic as they get to know each other and become familiar with our daily routines. They have embraced every opportunity to explore, play and learn in their new environment.

The children have enjoyed a wide range of activities, from sharing books in our cosy reading corners and building obstacle courses, to creating dens and drawing pictures of themselves. It has been lovely to see friendships beginning to blossom and the children growing in confidence each day.

Our lunchtime routines have also got off to a fantastic start. The lunch hall has been calm and settled as the children carefully learn how to carry their lunch on a tray and enjoy their meal together.

We are incredibly proud of how well the children have adapted to their new surroundings and routines. They have made a fantastic start to their Reception journey, and we are excited for all the wonderful learning and experiences still to come!
