As part of our Invertebrates topic, this week we have been learning all about snails. The children enjoyed finding out about the different parts of a snail, where they live and how they move. We also shared the story Matisse's Magical Trail, which introduced us to the artwork of Henri Matisse. Inspired by Matisse's famous artwork The Snail, the children created their own snail collages. They carefully selected and arranged colourful shapes to create their snail pictures, showing lots of creativity and concentration.
