Calypso fun

The children in Year 6 have been working really hard to consolidate their learning in the final few weeks before their SATs tests.
But it’s not all about SATs as the children have also enjoyed making sculptures of food in art lessons and continuing to debate about whether the UK should introduce stricter laws to protect our oceans following on from our learning on Earth Day. We are so lucky at Sheen Mount that we’ve got our amazing outside space to develop our skills in playing rounders. Here we are learning to play calypso music on glockenspiels.
And, whisper it quietly, we have already started getting excited about our Year 6 trip to Marchants Hill in the final week of this half term!
