Welcome back after half term! We have had a lovely start to our new topic, Traditional Tales. To hook the children in, the class teachers performed their very own version of The Three Little Pigs. The children absolutely loved it and have been retelling the story with lots of enthusiasm!

In maths, we have been focusing on careful counting, making sure we count objects one at a time and don’t skip any. The children have been practising pointing to each object as they count to help make sure their counting is accurate. We have also been using fancy boxes and trays to collect and organise objects from around the classroom, as well as making our very own counting wands to help us remember to count carefully and slowly.

It has been a wonderful start to the half term and we are looking forward to exploring more traditional tales together!
