A trip to Nower Wood- a great end to a brilliant year in Reception!

Reception finished their topic of invertebrates by going on their first school trip! We went to Nower Wood and went by coach. It was a very exciting day and we had lots of fun taking part in sensory activities. We even pretended to be like woodlice, put blindfolds on and walked around the forest using our hands as antennas to guide us. We also took part in pond dipping and managed to catch some newts! At school, we have also been working on our fantastic bug hotel with a little bit of help from Ms Mohseni. We think it's beautiful and want to give a special thanks to Ms Mohseni for all her work on the plants and flowers in the outdoor area.  Reception have had a brilliant year and are ready for their summer holiday. Reception, you have been amazing!
