Royal reformations, right angles and rounders!

Year 4 have had an absolutely brilliant fortnight, throwing themselves into every lesson with enthusiasm, especially our sunny PE sessions outdoors! We’ve been honing our rounder's skills and are quickly becoming tactical pros, hitting the ball across the astro, fielding with flair, and working together as a team.
In history, we've become curious historians, delving into the dramatic world of King Henry VIII. Using a range of sources, we’ve explored the huge changes he brought to religion in Tudor England. This week, we tackled the 'Reformation' and uncovered just how much it reshaped the Church.
In maths, we’ve taken our learning outside again, this time to explore angles in a hands-on way. Armed with everyday items and natural treasures, the children created all sorts of shapes and angles, bringing shape to life!
