Members of the emergency services and representatives of other youth organisations guided the children through a number of scenarios that they might encounter over the coming years, as they become more independent after moving to secondary school. Amongst other things, the children learned how to make a 999 call and how to stay safe on public transport and near water.  The children really impressed us with their listening skills, sensible questions and mature attitude.
