Year 2 have had another busy few weeks. 

In English, we have been reading the book 'Lost and Found' by Oliver Jeffers and retelling it using actions. We then created a story map with pictures and next week, we will be writing our own versions of the story!  

In maths we have been continuing with addition and subtraction. We have been drawing our tens and ones to help show our working out and also partitioning to subtract. 

In computing, we have been learning how to take portrait and landscape photographs. We loved going outside in groups and using the iPad cameras. 

In art, we have been learning about Yayoi Kusama's pumpkin art. We sketched pumpkins and discussed how she uses polka dots to enhance the shape of a pumpkin.
