This week we had Forest School, and we welcomed back Miss Melissa by surprising her with everything  that we remembered from last year. We learnt a new game where we pretended to be hedgehogs hibernating in the cold. We also made hedgehogs out of pine cones and leaves. In class, we have been making super sentences to describe our imaginary monsters and cannot wait for Mrs O'Brien to read them. In art, we have continued with our sketching module. We learnt about making wavy lines to represent water in the oceans, and we learnt to colour them using different media. We made a joint masterpiece with a friend and even added sea creatures and sea plants. In maths, we continued with our learning about subtraction.
