The children have thoroughly enjoyed spending time outdoors and making the most of our natural environment. It has been fantastic to see their creativity and enthusiasm flourish while learning outside the classroom.

The children were fascinated to learn about the lives of Victorian children and were particularly surprised to discover that many children had to work in factories or clean chimneys before laws were introduced to improve children's lives.
In French, the children have been learning greetings and simple conversational phrases. They are beginning to confidently greet one another and take part in short conversations with their friends.
In PSHE, we have been exploring the different types of families that make up our communities. The children have been discussing what makes a family special and have learned that, although families may look different from one another, they are united by the love, care, and support they provide. Through our discussions, the children have developed a greater understanding of respect, belonging, and the importance of positive relationships.
