Mr Held and Mrs Webster welcome you to Year 5. Our main topic this term is Victorian Britain. We are looking forward to visiting the Gunnersbury Museum, enjoying a Victorian tea party and comparing how we live today with the lives of the Victorians.

We will create William Morris style prints in art, investigate the Solar System in science and practise our hockey and rugby skills in P.E. We will be dancing like Victorians in P.E, learning the Polka and the Waltz, and we are looking forward to being creative in Arts week as well!

There is lots more to look forward to in the year ahead, and this term sees us begin to prepare for our trip to Isle of Wight. We are also excited about performing our class assemblies in front of the school.
