Welcome to the Spring term of Year 4.

 The Year 4 team consists of Miss Davies, Mrs Steel, Mrs Adams and Mrs Taylor. 

 We had a brilliant Autumn term and want to share some of our photographs with you. In our gallery you can see pictures from our trips to Hampton Court Palace and the National Archives. We really enjoyed ourselves and the children could not agree on which of the two visits was their favourite!

Despite the snowy start to the Spring term, the children have come to school full of enthusiasm for our new topics. We have already begun immersing ourselves into different fantasy worlds, reading extracts from Harry Potter to the Faraway tree and brainstorming ideas in order to create a world of our own. Watch out for a host of extraordinary characters and settings taking over a classroom near you!

Another popular topic this term is 'Mountains' and we will be encouraging the children to use the Library and the Internet to explore as many mountain ranges as possible. If you, or someone you know has visited any famous mountains or mountain ranges, please send in photos or come and tell us all about it.
