Happy New Year and welcome to Reception.

We are the youngest children in the school and have just started full days this term. We feel very grown up to be attending school full time and we are learning a lot, whilst growing in confidence and independence and having so much FUN. Last term we were concentrating on listening carefully, sharing and taking turns, tidying things away, showing good manners and looking after our belongings, all of which we are now very good at. This term our first topic is transport and we are currently focussing on a Space theme. We are looking forward to our new Space Station Role Play area being complete. Look out for astronauts if you are visiting reception! You might even be lucky enough to join us on a mission to the moon.
