Governor position held |
Co-Opted Governor |
Appointment date and term | First appointed at 31st December 2018, reappointed for a further 4 years from 1st January 2023 |
Why did you want to be a governor? |
As my kids go off to university, I want to invest my time into a meaningful public role. Being a school governor brings together my background in business and teaching and as a mum. |
Which Committee do you sit on? |
Pastoral. Mental health and wellbeing is at the heart of children’s personal development and attainment and this is a topic close to my heart. |
What do you do when you are not being a governor? |
I work with City Harvest food recycling and The Princes Trust. I would like to stand again as a councillor. I walk in Richmond Park most days with my dog and occasionally get down to Cambersands for a walk on the beach! |
During your time as a governor, what achievement has made you most proud? |
I can’t wait to work with a brilliant team who care a great deal about the children and families at Sheen Mount. |
