Pulleys, seed dispersal and coastal features

We have had a busy few weeks since our return from the Easter holidays. We have begun to learn about coastal features, including how caves, stacks and arches are formed due to erosion. In science, our learning has focused on how flowering plants reproduce and disperse their seeds. Also, we have had the pulleys out to investigate how they make carrying a load require less effort. You can see pulleys in action in the photo above. Lastly, as we have begun to read our core text, Journey to Jo'Burg, the children have used their research skills to find out more about South Africa in order to write their non-chronological reports.
