This week Year 1 have been learning all about plants. In English, we have been writing a plant fact book which explains what plants need to grow and their stages of growth. In art we have been developing our sketching and observational skills. We practised drawing plants and flowers looking at including detail and shading to our drawings.  In science, we have looked at what wild plants will be growing in our local area as the weather warms up. We recognised daisies, buttercups and dandelions. In maths we have been learning all about division and how to share a number equally between groups or with people.
