Circuits, cycling and civilisation

It has been a busy start to the summer term in Year 6.

Since returning to school after the Easter holidays, Year 6 have been learning about the role of switches in completing and breaking circuits during their science lessons; improving their cricketing and gymnastic skills in PE and identifying the cultural, political and artistic achievements of early Islamic civilisation in our history lessons.  In art we are analysing the key features that appear in Islamic decorative art and architecture in order to inspire us when we start to design our own tile designs. We also had lots of fun on the smoothie bikes last week!
