Friends, Romans and Countrymen...
Next Wednesday Year 4 will finish their history topic of Romans in Britain with a Roman themed day. The children should come to school in costume and be prepared to pretended that they live in this time period for the day. However, in order for us to have the best possible day with lots of activities, we need some more parent helpers for the morning. This week we have been learning how to write a secret agent story in preparation for our writing next week. The children have thought about characters, Q style gadgets and valuable items which criminals have stolen. We're really looking forward to reading their completed stories. In science, we have learnt about how the ear works and why different animals have different shaped ears. And in RE, we have been retelling the Easter story.
